It is amazing to me that while Congress is asking the American people to make huge sacrifices to help with our deficit, there is barely, if any, mention made of curtailing foreign aid. Are the citizens and governments of other countries, even our allies, more important than our own citizens? I think it is time that this be put squarely on the table. I have even noticed the news media almost in total skirts the issue when they have opportunities to ask the hard questions of Congressional members as well as the Executive Branch. Get some emails going to your US Senators and Representatives and lets ask why this is not on the front burner!!!!!!!!!!
